If pizza is your thing, give Jon and Vinny a try. It wont disappoint. One of the best places for pizza In LA county. The pizza dough is very thin, baked in a wood oven. The walls are decorated with pizza boxes. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting areas. There is valet parking on site and also paid parking meters around. The parking might be a problem on weekends.
We have been here few times and white lightning pizza is our favorite.
careful! There is some shady stuff going on! I typically do not give bad reviews unless there is bad food and I was ripped off. Jon & Vinny’s nailed it in both of these categories. Went for breakfast. Food was mediocre at best. The latte was an impressive $8.25. Two pieces of bread, two lattes, and a side of sausage was over $40. The real issue arrived with the check. I am glad I checked the receipt as there was an added service charge of 18%. I usually tip 20%+ so this would not have been an issue if the waitress disclosed this information. I was very surprised that there was a service charge and the waitress did not inform us that the tip was already included. This service charge is not on the final receipt (but you paid it!) and then there is space to add a tip. If you want to charge a service fee, fine. But to not disclose this information? And then ask for a tip? It feels really shady and disingenuous. I am sure many customers walk away giving around a 40% tip. Do better. This tipping system is in bad faith.
