Upon meeting Julia, we could sense she was a different kind of Realtor. She is very personable, and relatable. She took the time to get to know our family and to understand our goals, especially the budget. Most notably, she was adamant about our relationship being a good fit before we were allowed to start to work together.
Our first meeting, Julia was prepared with an informative, step by step home buyer presentation about the real estate market and buying process. She shared her vision and strategy for submitting a successful offer. It was a whirlwind meeting as it became clear to us what we were lacking in both strategy and presentation with our previous offers. Two weeks later, Julia edited media and music to produce our very first digital “homebuyer video.”
Our first offer with Julia was literally a marathon round. Julia made it a point to present our offer in person to the seller. She worked around the clock until 10 PM negotiating on our behalf with the seller’s agent ... I know she skipped dinner that night. The entire time, Julia was very responsive about the status and fully explained each step as we moved along negotiations. As we crept closer to our budget, Julia never once suggested to offer a dollar more. Although we eventually did not win the opportunity to purchase the home, we were immediately impressed with her work ethic and commitment.
The following day, Julia already made arrangements to tour another listing. The house checked off every wish list requirement and when we walked through the door, it immediately felt like home. This one just had to be our forever home! Julia devised an action plan that same night and suggested we submit a preemptive offer. She reviewed disclosures with us until the wee hours of the night and we presented an offer the following day. At the time, we were ‘tenants’ of our parent’s house, and I’ll never forgot how she broke the news to us: “I have good news and bad news ... and the bad news is that you have to move out of your parents house.”
Julia really gets the job done. She was with us every step of the way; from preparing market analysis, to completing contract documents, through signing closing documents with the escrow company. Julia is very reliable and responsive and we were comfortable throughout the entire process. Her expertise and presence has continued even after we received the keys, as she graciously lends her time and knowledge about house improvements and shares her connection to many resources she knows in the area.
