Outstanding service that saved me $1,300 on my 2008 Mazda 2.3! Initially, I was headed to King's Transmission in Renton when my AT light and check engine light came on. I decided to stop at the nearest transmission shop, Junior's Transmission Repair but was hesitant because of bad experiences with random auto shops in the past. I was bracing myself for the cost of a new TCM or rebuilt transmission.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when they called to tell me that my transmission was actually in great shape. They diagnosed the issue as a faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM), a common problem for Mazda owners. Instead of doing a costly transmission swap or a brand-new TCM that would have cost me $1,500, they sent mine for circuit board repair. It came back in perfect condition, and they even relocated the TCM to avoid heat damage, without me even having to ask.
The total cost? Only about $220 for the TCM, Transmission fluid flush and filter change at Junior's and $258 for the outsourced TCM repair. Junior's Transmission Repair is not only honest and knowledgeable but also cost-effective. I highly recommend them for not just transmission issues but all car issues. I'm already planning to return next week for a brake replacement, which is priced much lower than other local shops and Juniors is honest and does good work. Go here you wont regret it!
I brought my 06 Ram 2500 Cummins in for its every 75k mi trans rebuild. Geraldo fixed my shifter adjustment that the last shop messed up, AND he apparently also fixed my drivers side power window control cluster! Go to Juniors’s FOR SURE. These guys are AWESOME, such a nice surprise they didn’t have to do that, but they did and didn’t tell us. I’ll be calling Monday morning to personally thank him for the extra effort.
