This is one organization that is truly helping both veterans and dogs. Dan and K9 Kavalry are committed to be a source of support and connection for our brave men and women who served in the military. Dan trains dogs for both civilians and veterans. I highly recommend being involved with this nonprofit.

Our son Greg was wounded physically and mentally during his tour as a Marine in Afghanistan. He spiraled when he got home and we got him a dog to try and help stabilize him . Dan helped Greg train Jack, his black lab. Most people who meet Jack think he is the most remarkable dog they have ever met. He saved Greg's life. We know for a fact he would not be here with us today had he not had him. Dan's training is straightforward. He is patient, respectful and kind with the veterans and animals. As a veteran himself Dan can relate to veterans and their needs and tailor programs to fit dogs and veterans. Our boy developed a seizure disorder due to TBI's and Dan helped Jack learn how to react when Greg experiences one. Dan's new facility in Woodland, WA is exceptional. It gigantic, clean and beautiful ! We wish Dan great success in helping many, many more veterans like he did with our son ! I am open to contact for conversations and references..
