I could go on and on about the care or lack of from Kaiser Permanente, but I’ll just start with today. My husband’s knee hurt after traveling in an airplane. It hurt the entire week he was gone. On the Monday after he got back we called his team at Veradale and was told to call the care now so we did so. He basically told us to go to an ER because Kaiser in Spokane doesn’t off any urgent care with ultrasound at any of their centers. My husband went to the Valley ER. They did an ultrasound and X-rays. The diagnosis was arthritis. If it wasn’t better in a week he was told to get follow up care. Well Monday the 24th was a week and he’s no better so we have a follow up for him on Friday. I called Veradale to let them know that we tried to fill out the echeck and it would not let us continue after we put in that they should get his records from the Valley er. The person I talked to was so rude. I could not believe it. I finally asked her if I could speak to someone who could be more helpful than her. After that she gave me some information about how to go about getting info from the er to verdale which included calling the er and explaining the situation which I did. I had to leave a message but got a call back within ten minutes from someone who went above and beyond to help me. When I asked the Kaiser employee who I can call to report the e checkin not working she said don’t worry about it just come in early. But I said shouldn’t someone be told it’s not working and she said not to bother with. I asked her if she was going to do it. No I’m too busy. Try going through the site not the mobile app. Sometimes that works. She was so unprofessional. This is just one of the interactions that have been horrible since Kaiser took over for Group Health. As I said this is just one instance of uncaring incompetence. I wished I had written down everything that has happened to us since Kaiser took over. We are literally counting down the days til we can get Medicaid. If you have a choice? Dont choose Kaiser.

Always great service but my daughter really misses the aquarium! It was such a soothing part of the waiting room and helped her focus on something besides the vaccine she was about to get.

And I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My Doctor Sharon Healy and her
Nurse are extremely knowledgeable in their field and it’s a pleasure coming in and getting the right answers.
