Picking up take-out for a Sunday evening with friends and had to select one Thai restaurant from Pierce/Thurston counties and went with Kamlai. Excellent choice. Swimming Rama had a uniquely flavored sauce different from other Thai restaurants and I found myself literally licking up every bit of it I could. Green curry had just the right kick and was practically ambrosial. We also really liked the Golden Cashew and the Eggplant. Our friends declared the Pad Thai as matching the best they had ever had. Pretty easy on/off from I-5 which makes this a great stop if you are passing through. We did not pick hotness levels but let the kitchen prepare as they wished so I would ask for higher heat levels if you like your Thai on the hotter side. Everything out our experience here was positive.

Dined in this visit. Felt very welcome. Frustrated at some of the negative reviews posted here. The photos posted are not even from her restaurant.I don’t think it is right that people can sabotage a restaurant. My experience was wonderful. The flavors were outstanding. The portion size generous. The balance of noodles to delicious sauce was perfect. The two dipping sauces for the fresh spring rolls with a treat. Don’t believe some of these bogus reviews. Go see for yourself. You will be glad you did.

When i read the reviews, i was like, i gotta try this place. Definitely glad we did. The food is amazing. My honey had the red curry with beef, i had the eggplant with beef. Can't forget the fried rice. So good. I'll be back soon. 🥳😄🍽
