Going to Bethesda Clinic is the best decision I have made.
I learned through my midwife that seeking Chiropractic care helps with pains and aches associated with pregnancy. I quickly called my insurance to find Chiropractors in my network that were near me AND that are certified in the Webster’s technique. After calling over 10 places I finally found Dr. Kang. I started seeing Dr. Kang when I was almost two months pregnant and I am currently going on 7 months. I always look forward to my weekly visits. The front office staff is friendly and they really make you feel welcomed. Dr. Kang’s philosophy is “in this office you don’t wait” he is punctual with seeing his patients. Dr. Kang always begins the appointment with “are you feeling any specific discomfort?” He really listens to his patients and addresses any concerns. He is very knowledgeable on the bodies nerves, muscles and skeletal structure and can explain why he chooses specific treatment.
When I was about 2 1/2 months pregnant I thought it would be a good idea to go hiking. It was all fun and games until I slipped and caught myself from falling. I had horrible pain on the left side of my middle back. I was able to quickly set up an appointment that same week and he confirmed I pulled a muscle. The pain went away by the end of my appointment.
Lastly, his scheduling is AMAZING. My work schedule is not always as consistent as I’d like it to be so I love that I can text the office to schedule/reschedule my appointments. I also love that they send a reminder text the day before.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kang to any moms to be AND to anyone experiencing pain or discomfort. You will not be let down by his knowledge, expertise and professionalism.

Dr.Joon is the best! My family and I have been seeing him for many years for different kind of pains. I feel so much better everytime after I receive treatment. For me as a pianist, finding Dr.Joon is a blessing. He is also a piano player and understands my problems. It is hard to find a doctor who really understands and knows how pianists get injured and knows how to treat those injuries. Pianist injuries do not only affect your hands but also your shoulders, back, hips and legs. Dr. Joon is very professional, not only does he treat your pain, but will also discuss in detail why these injuries happen. He also offers professional advice on prevention of re-injury. I highly recommend Dr.Joon!

Dr. Kang is INCREDIBLE. If you have any sort of pain or discomfort, chances are he can help. He is not only knowledgeable but also very skilled in what he does. I was told that I had carpal tunnel syndrome by my PCP. I unsuccessfully tried various treatments and found no relief for months and was getting desperate. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Kang to me - I was very skeptical at first. But, at the first appointment, he figured out that I actually had a nerve entrapment and not true carpal tunnel, and from there he worked to treat my problem. Amazing. Within a month everything improved. I've been going back just for when I have flare ups and each time it's been immensely helpful. Dr. Kang is someone who really knows his stuff and yet he's super chill. I don't normally write reviews or refer my friends and family but having had this experience I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kang. I can't say enough good things about him and his clinic!
