I was so disappointed. The food was terrible. The great balls of fire were mushy and bland. The brisket sandwich was greasy with zero flavor. Even the French fries were terrible. If it wasn't for the location, tourists, and the Top Gun thing, it would have been closed down years ago.

Stopped here because of TOP GUN. The service was super great! The staff was very attentive. I had bbq chicken. It was good, but I'm from Kansas city, so if I compare it to home, it's not there. The BBQ sauce was a lil different for me, as well.It seemed like they tried to give it a San Diego seafood/marisco flare. I didn't like the sauce at all.

Burnt Ends !! Yes, yes ,yes !!! Plus it where top gun was performed ! Piano sceen of Great balls of Fire... awesome staff.. must go for late lunch there.. we saw the restaurant before Midway !! Then after Midway tour, wife and i went back asap for late lunch !! Great shef and servers !!
