If you're getting tested for food sensitivity, this is complete waste of time and money. . I made an appointment to get tested for certain food sensitivities. I show up and Dr. Gendo advised that there is no such test and that he could only test for foods that would cause me to go into an anaphylactic shock. One, after doing the smallest amount of research after the appointment, this is completely false. Two, why wouldn’t they have told me there was no test for this when I told them I wanted to come in a get tested for food sensitivities? If I called a doctor’s office for a brain scan, and they don’t do brain scans, I would hope they would tell me that before I showed up. In addition, I explained how my partner got tested and she tested positive for gluten, wheat and dairy allergies. Dr. Gendo advised she was ripped off and that she is at a higher risk for diabetes because she cut out gluten. Finally, without even asking me what my current diet is or asking one question about my life style, he just told me to get on the Mediterranean diet and that was pretty much all I can do. He has no idea if I’m a vegetarian, my caffeine intake, if I exercise, or anything else about me because he didn’t even bother to ask one question. Just get on the Mediterranean Diet, thank you for your money and have a nice day.
