I was a big theatre kid in my early years and started lessons at Kathryn Kibota Voice Studio to reconnect with my love for singing and to help with my confidence and I am so glad I did! Each lesson I come out feeling excited to sing and looking forward to every upcoming performance. Her style of teaching has been very helpful for me in discovering my own style and also learning to trust my intuition in making my own choices in each song I sing. I feel like my voice has become stronger, my breathing more consistent, and I have truly reclaimed the joy I used to have when I sing! I knew I was in the right place when I was buzzing with excitement and pride after a recital for a couple of weeks afterwards. The pressure I used to put on myself to sound "perfect" before letting myself sing in front of others has fallen away and for me, singing has become an avenue for genuine self-expression and my confidence is very much improved. If you are thinking about voice lessons, I highly recommend her!!!

Kattie is a very good teacher and perfect for online teaching. Her ear is so sensitive so that she can hear from other side of the computer and can find the mistakes very easily. My kids are very much eager to play piano and take voice lesson from Katie. She is very much friendly also during the class. Overall it's a very positive and nice experience.

Katie is an amazing teacher. I have only been with her for 3 months now and my voice is doing things I never thought were possible. She has a way of explaining things that help you understand how everything works. Not only is she super talented but also very smart and knows her stuff! If you want to learn to sing or help define your voice I highly highly recommend Katie Kibota!!
