Beautiful drive in, clean camp sites, clean vault toilets, and there are trails all around to explore. There are only 8 car/RV sites that are nicely spaced out. The tent camping area are just as nice.

Spent one (very cool) week day night here to test a new tent. Clean, very quiet other than mating owls. Clean pit restroom.
Fire rings and clean finished cement tables. We knew there were washboard roads inside park.

BLM primitive campground with 8 small drive-up sites and three walk-in tent sites. Drive-up sites are clustered around four eucalyptus trees, and can fit small trailers. The sites are close. Each site has a table, fire ring, lantern post, tent pad. There are two pit toilets. NO WATER, OR TRASH CANS. BRING YOUR WATER, TAKE YOUR TRASH. I found it OK for 2 nights, mid-week in March. Only one walk-in tent space was vacant each night. Everyone was friendly, considerate, and very quiet at night. No generators or loud anything. I would stay here again but would prefer to disperse camp.
