I take my flute here for its annual maintenance (i.e. oiling of the pads, general adjustments, cleaning etc.). The flute technician is very professional and nice. The price is reasonable. I paid 85 for my flute maintenance, which was very within my budget. The main store employee I usually see, Lara (or maybe Laura) is very polite and kind. Would recommend the annual maintenance for other musicians as well!

It's a good place to buy music accessories, like music books, rosin, and strings, but not good if you want to repair an instrument or get an instrument accessory. They sell stuff for all instruments making the staff not trained well for certain types of instruments. When I went there to get new strings the staff offered to replace the strings for me. They charged for it, but later I found that they set up the strings wrong showing how inexperienced the person was. Another problem with them having stuff for all instruments is that they have narrow selections of instrument accessories. I went there to buy a bow once, but there was only one type of bow that wasn't carbon fiber. They told me to check with them a week later to see if they had any new bows, but they didn't. And even though the bow costed $100 it wasn't that good of a bow, I was way satisfied with another bow I bought later at a different music store for about the same price. The only thing that's keeping me from giving this store a 1 star is that they have proved useful for me getting new rosin and music books.

When I went in to order my daughter's flute which cost me $1887 they did not mention about back order till Nov. They said their receipt print was out of paper or order and would email me a receipt. Did not happen. No receipt no phone call. Waited 3 wks and still hadn't received it and the guy called me saying I had a misunderstanding and he had never mentioned about having to wait only 2,3 wks. He did say 2,3 wks and I can come pick it up when it would arrive at the store. He said end of Oct and I can expect it so I said I would wait. It's Nov 15th and still not a call or email receipt. I paid $1887 and I am going to call tomorrow to request a refund. So frustrating
