For what it's worth, the actual chiropractic treatment was great. The reason for my 1 star review is the extreme lack of professionalism by the doctors themselves.
First time I came here, the receptionist (who was very nice, for what it's worth) told me MULTIPLE TIMES that I was covered through my insurance after scanning my insurance card.
Sitting in the waiting room, I saw two doctors with no masks making fun of a homeless man sitting outside of the facility. It irked me but I kind of understood as to why they'd be uncomfortable with him outside their business, but they could have at least asked him to leave instead of mocking him for 30 minutes.
My average wait time in the lobby was 30-45 minutes after I was scheduled, which was annoying but I was fine with it for the most part. I was then greeted by my doctor (who I will refrain from singling out) who asked if he should wear a mask or not "just in case you actually care about any of that stuff".
Like I said prior, the treatment itself was great. Somewhat rushed, but for quality service that actually worked I was fine with the in-and-out process.
I asked about payment multiple times from both the doctor and the secretary who assured me I'd be fine. 6-7 weeks into treatment and I walk out after waiting an HOUR because my doctor is busy talking to one of his clients (who I believe knew him outside of work but I'm not sure) about non-treatment related topics.
A few days later I get a bill for nearly $300. I call my doctor who then conveniently informs me AFTER I've received treatment that "well actually your insurance doesn't cover you here". I tell him that I was told by both him AND his receptionist that I was in fact covered, and he immediately singles out his receptionist and says "well, you know she's new here so you understand why she'd make that mistake".
Part of me feels bad writing this review because this is by far the best treatment I've ever gotten, but the lack of professionalism and disorganization put me, a college student desperately trying to save money during a pandemic, out of $300 after being told multiple times by multiple people not to worry and that I was covered.
