It is the last time I will go into Kent’s meats! I asked for a dog food chub cut in 3/4” in the butcher gave me 2 inch cuts of dog food. So I asked him to cut it into 3/4 again. His reply was that my fingers showed 2” sarcastically. even though I said 3/4”. It wasn’t even busy only one cashier was open. I’m in there every two weeks and I never have left with a purchase under $30.00. So never again!

I called on Tuesday inquiring about having my sons deer butchered. Man on the phone asked if I could keep it cold for a few days, I could bring it in on Thursday. I asked for the man's name and he told me don't worry about it, just bring it in on Thursday, we will have space. Well I show up on Thursday to bring the deer in and was greeted with. "I don't know who told you that, we don't even have a hook to hang it." I restated what I was told and a short young girl walks behind the counter and retorts, " Take it to Ranchers in Corning." After that, the lady that first spoke to me disappeared and a few minutes later returned with meat to stock the cooler. Not one person acknowledged me after that. After a few phone calls I was able to secure another butcher to process his deer. This is the last time I will be doing business with Kent because this same scenario happened three years prior.
