I love this store and bring all of my friends when they visit me. They love it, too! Be sure to ask for a tour of the basement area (available any time, it seems), where you can learn how the soaps and some other products are made! Fascinating! The varied gifts and books are also fun to browse. There are usually delicious free chocolate chip cookies at the cash register, and delicious spa water, with fresh fruit flavoring it, on the bookstore side! Be sure to go to the Bluebird restaurant across the street, also... same owners, and great atmosphere with yummy food!

Ky Soaps & Such was one of the stops on my Christmas list for ME this year. My husband & I shopped the store & then headed to the Bluebird for dinner. We arrived at closing, but the staff offered to stay until I had time to shop. In fact, they insisted that I take my time, that they would be glad to stay open for my husband and me. What an amazing crew, Susan and all of the girls! This store is a true gem; great products and amazing southern hospitality! Cindy & Cliff Somerset, KY

This is a very cool local store with fun and unique products inside and a very old-timey feel to it. They had everything from kitchen items like cutting boards and coffee mugs to books and clasdic wooden children's toys. I would highly suggest stopping in here to at least look around if you're in the area.
