I called to get a price estimate for a hem and was told he had to see the dress before he could give any idea. So I brought it in, and he took a look, telling me it would cost 162 dollars. For a hem!! That's more than I paid for the whole dress. It's absolutely ridiculous. He claimed the underlayer was a difficult fabric to work with but is supposedly one of the most experienced tailors in town. His pricing for simple alterations is so high! I decided to go to "Mari's alterations". She was much more affordable and did a beautiful job on the hem of both layers. My dress was done within the week, as opposed to the month it would've taken here.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to go elsewhere!!!
