My 2 ½ year old daughter has been going there for the past 8 months. And it has been a terrific experience both for her and us. She has graduated from the Mars Room to the Venus Room or to the bigger kid’s class. I remember her first week in Kiddie Academy where it was heart breaking to leave her there in the mornings. And now it is heartbreaking (in a way) when I go to pick her up and she does not want to go home. She looks forward to going to school every morning – it gets her out of bed, it gets her eating breakfast quickly, and it gets her dressed. She loves her teachers and friends in school. And the progress she is making is amazing – she is learning new songs, about animals, the alphabet, and numbers.
From a parent’s perspective, I’m very grateful for Kiddie Academy. It has put a fantastic structure to my daughter’s day – whether it is nap time or learning time or play time or eating time. We trust the owners and the teachers of this institution a lot. The customer service is top notch. They truly care about the children and the parents. For both my wife and me, traveling to Kiddie Academy in Redmond Ridge adds 40 minutes of commute time (since we live in Bellevue) every day. However we have never considered moving our daughter out of Kiddie Academy to any other day care. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for day care in the area.
Our son has been going to Kiddie academy in Redmond Ridge since it opened, and we couldn't be happier. There are many things that stand out. First of all the staff is excellent, my son is friends with all of them. In his previous daycare dropping him off used to be a nightmare. He would cling to us and not want to go. When I drop him off at Kiddie academy he smiles and says bye-bye. In the morning he says he wants to go and play with Miss Heather (one of the teachers), indicating how well he has connected with them. The other thing is Kiddie academy have their own chef. My son is exposed to many different kind of food and I really like their family style serving where all the kids sit together and serve themselves. The center itself is new so very nice and clean, the play area outside is good. They have lot of educational toys, he is doing lot of painting, reading books. When I'm leaving him at day care, now I'm not worried about how his day will be and whether he will eat food or not, I know he is having fun and is taken care of. Overall I highly recommend the kiddie academy at redmond ridge.
