Better than the chain stores. They have more knowledge together than all three: orielly, autozone and napa combined. They try their best to get you what you need and at a way better price than everyone else.

I need trnmisson oil pan drain plug for my 2009 vw jetta since mine was missing. When I called Kilmers to price check, bur their system did not even list the part. The guy on the phone: jim, Jim, asking me to bring him my old one so he could check for the part visually. I told him 5 times I was missing the drain plug, thats why i needed to buy one. I never physically went in the store since they didn't have what I needed. But on the phone Jim was very helpful and he tried hard to find my prt:

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They just didn't have the tool I needed. They did, however tell me where I might find one.
