A true healer--in a class by herself. Dr. Kim is an expert in many of the facets of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and combines them all for a unique and effective treatment protocol. I saw Dr. Kim initially for intense shoulder and neck pain. Within two treatments the pain was GONE. I would not have believed it if I had not experienced it myself. I've been the patient of numerous TCM practitioners over the years (all of whom charge much more) and she is by far the best. In case you are new to this type of treatment, be aware that sometimes the pressure points can feel very tender while she is treating the "knots" that are causing problems (similar to what one experiences with a deep tissue western massage).But the pain relief you'll feel later is worth it!

Dr. Kim is not only a licensed Doctor, she is a genius in Asian Medicine, Pain Management, and Acupuncture. My first visit to Dr. Kim's office, I arrived with neck, shoulder, lower back, and arm pain, but when I walked out the door, I was pain FREE! It's remarkable treatment and I encourage anyone who is suffering from pain or inability to function at their potential to visit, Dr. Kim's Acupuncture Clinic in Bakersfield, Ca.

Dr. Kim really knows how to target the root of your pains. She also give you pointers on how to fix yourself and really cares for your well-being. I've been taking less pain medications, and I've referring everyone I know who has pain issues to her.
