The Kings River Overlook Gazebo is in an ideal location; for Reedley College students, it's a good place to hang out or meet up, for other Reedleyites, it's a rest stop between the Kings River Trail and the Rail-Trail. The only problem is, it's almost always dirty and poorly maintained. As a rest stop, it would benefit from a public water fountain, but those are getting rarer and rarer in Reedley so I wouldn't hold one's breath; as far as I know, there isn't a single functioning water fountain left on the Rail-Trail. Still though, this gazebo offers a decent view of the river basin, and the train bridge. I'm not going to dismiss a place to sit, even if it's not perfect.
