Many purchases, finds, and much to come from Kitchen Basics. Some highlights are a baking stone, fresh herb storage/juicer, tortilla press, trimming scissors/stem-stripper etc.

The staff at this “store” kicked out the executive chef of one of top restaurants in the market/city of Seattle, which I happen to work at. They judged him based on his appearance, as he browsed on his break, and demanded he leave the store. Other shoppers witnessed it, appalled, and followed him out to apologize on the stores behalf. Now they are the joke of multiple high end restaurants in the area… simply because of the staffs behavior on that particular day. They later offered a coupon to my poor coworker as an apology, only after being confronted face to face by a fellow chef who had heard about the incident. NICE WORK GUYS, WERE ALL STILL LAUGHING AT YA.

The shopkeeper was very friendly, did a little bit of up-selling at the cash register, but I really appreciated his suggestions. The shop does have a great selection of fiesta ware, some retired colors are a good discount, and there are items you cannot find at shops like Macy's. Many interesting kitchen gadgets and accessories.
