I can't figure out how to reply to the owner's comment so here goes: You'd like to know how to make my next visit a nicer one? You can start by firing the tall 'gentleman' who reamed me out on my birthday because I made the incredible faux pas of asking for synthetic yarn. I was sent there by another shop who said you carried it and your boyfriend tore a strip off me. I stopped crocheting - I haven't done a stich since and every time I look at my yarn I feel sick. He was literally foaming at the mouth. Also, I'm disabled and it is very hard to get into your store without a ramp. Don't worry about making my next visit nicer, I won't be coming.
Absolutely wonderful experience ♡ My daughter and I recently attended a class learning how to crochet (not at this store) and fell into the hobby quite ambitiously. We wanted to each make a blanket for our first project and simply did a quick Google search for yarn stores in Victoria open on a late Sunday afternoon. By fluke, we found Knotty By Nature - best stumbled upon Google discovery!! The store owner was absolutely fabulous, full of knowledge and willingness to share said knowledge. He was teaching a customer and her daughter macrame, and still took the time to help us pick our yarn, crochet hooks, and answer all of our bazillion questions!! Very patient, friendly, and welcoming environment. And he even took the time to wind our yarn so it would be really for use immediately.
Such an awesome experience, we will definitely be back. Well worth the 4.9 stars Google has given. ♡
