Found the last one of its kind here. Unfortunately, no need to go back now. I like Kohl's. Plenty of near close-out merch and slightly discounted prices. Standard block layout. Departments are located along the Appian Way, an aisle-way that parallels the store perimeter walls. Selection is average. Dig deep through displays to find the higher discounted items. They tend to get mixed together by the consumer and not resorted nor restored to their proper rack at close. Everybody is cutting back on labor costs thanks to unfunded state mandates. Result? I get to spend more time shuffling through unwanted, misplaced merchandise at department stores. For most, no problem. They shop. I buy. I want to deadhead straight to the rack, select, then check-out. If Amazon ever overcomes their sizing, picking, and shipping issues, I might say buy there. But Kohl's has an advantage. Dressing rooms. That's the only reason I shop there. Try before I buy. I like.

If you go for the Sephora please take the time to read this. I bought a makeup palette as a present for my mom at the Sephora that came completely empty. I’ll admit I was a couple days past the 60 day return window due to me living so far but figured I’d at least get some in store credit. The associates had me running between both Sephora and Kohls customer service for over an hour, with both teams saying they couldn’t do anything about it and to call the other. I had Kohls CS hang up on me once, and a Sephora associate was insinuating that I had switched out the palette for a fake one pretty much accusing me of stealing. Sephora said that if I had bought it in an actual Sephora or online(not Sephora in kohls) they could of honored it but only if it had 90% of the product which I don’t understand how I could do that if the product literally came like this. Kohls said since it wasn’t their product they couldn’t do anything either. I work in customer service myself, this was overall a terrible experience, I am out $50 and I will never be back to this location again. Save yourself the trouble, go to an actual Sephora location, online, or just go to Ulta which is what I usually do. They have a 90 day return window and even more if it’s understandable from what I’ve heard(: oh and a better rewards program because they aren’t so greedy. Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience!

I went shopping today in the kids clearance section. In one small section there was still a sign up saying take an additional 50% off already reduced prices. However, when I went to pay I was told this sale had ended. The cashier paged her manager to go check. Since the manager "could not find this sign," I went to show her. To my surprise the clearance sign was no longer there. The manager stated she didn't know who could of taken it down but it was not there now. I told her it was just removed because it was there a minute ago. She then stated, "I am the only one of the sales floor right now are you calling me a liar." She was very condescending. So just beware that not because a sale sign is up means you will get the sale. I did call customer service and the representative was very nice!
