I asked for green onion because I couldn't handle any spicy chicken that they had. I went to a nice place to sit outside with my friend and turns out she gave me sweet and spicy chicken. I went back and told her I asked for green onion politely and she said "well I couldn't have heard that wrong... so." And she just stared at me. The chicken was fine but the service sucked.

You would expect for chain restaurants to serve the same quality food, but the Chicko Chicken on Montrose was a big disappointment! I live a block away from Chicko Chicken on Ventura, so that is my usual go-to location. But I wanted to try out the Montrose location to give them a chance. Ordered a Padak Padak, a half/half, and shake shake fries. Picked up the food on time as requested by employee. Chicken was not fresh, extremely soggy!! They gave a tiny sprinkle of Shake shake flakes for my fries. What a waste of money. On the other hand, the Ventura location gives a full container of the flakes, which makes it tasty, and chicken is always fresh and hot!

As much as I like supporting local business, their quality is just down the drain. Will never return to this location.
