I have always had a very positive experience here for myself and my daughter. The employees have all been kind and took their time. With my daughter, we had to do a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia. As she was only one year old she was not particularly cooperative and they were patient with her explaining the process and trying to help her understand and feel comfortable. Would recommend.

As someone who’s neurologist requires an MRI every year for my Multiple Sclerosis, this event is not new to me. It is not an easy process for me, but over the years I have worked on ways that make it easier for me to deal with the intense anxiety and claustrophobia. This experience yesterday was THE WORST I’ve ever had in the last 10 years! this was my first visit to this location rather than traveling back to Seattle to my neurologist office. It will NEVER happen again!! The lack of empathy and complete rudeness spewing from the tech at this location was appalling. An MRI isn’t an easy thing for MOST people and this girl made it entirely traumatic. After years of getting my routine down and being walked through the process very sympathetically by UW’s MS center I will 100% be driving back to Seattle rather than put my trust in Kootenai Imaging. She made it so stressful and was so pushy that no amount of anxiety meds on board could keep me from crying the entire time. I had zero trust in the tech and had no faith she’d let me out of the machine as I continued to have a full blown panic attack the entire procedure. I would have rather been human trafficked/kidnapped and locked in a coffin than go through the process at this location ever again. If the stress of this experience results in my body being pushed into an MS relapse due to trauma and stress I will be seeking further action.

Can't say enough good things about this great place. Real, caring and compassionate techs, state of the art equipment and every time i have arrived early, they took me early. Ultrasound tech Kristin was experienced, fun and compassionate; stereotactic tech, also Kristin, was terrific, fun and efficient and Dr. Moody was so capable. Gave me confidence. My MRI tech (Kayla?) was quick, efficient and a good communicator. She did an MRI in 20 minutes in a 3T widebore but short machine that felt like a spa...with country music! She hooked me up to an IV for gadolineum that I never felt. So happy with Kootenai health. I always walk away blessed.
