After a couple of drinks in Belltown a block from home, I ubered to Karochka Tavern in Wallingford, craving vodka and dumplings. Karochka Tavern always delivers. The good cheer, horseradish vodka, and amazing food forces me to wiggle my toes with pleasure. If Karochka Tavern was in Belltown, my perspiration at the gym would get fill the space with the aroma of horseradish, vodka, and pierogi. That’s better than Right Guard! Karochka Tavern is one of the best bars in Seattle.

The atmosphere is too kitchy, and I've had better russian food for cheaper. They served meat pelmeni to a vegetarian, and he bit into one without realizing it. The servers didn’t even apologize. Go to Hye Life Cafe instead.

This is a fun neighborhood place to stop in for some beet infused vodka and excellent borscht and pickles. The genuinely friendly service is heartwarming.
