My friends and I went in for breakfast. My husband and I live in town and when our friends visit we always go out to breakfast for their final morning. We chose the Krain cause my husband and I love the place. The food was ok, we’ve had better. They were super busy so we are willing to look past that. Our waitress however was so beyond rude. She is an older woman who looks so sweet and friendly and she was, to other patrons. She was unbelievably rude to me, the way she talked to me was unreal. I didn’t totally understand the menu and apparently I was ordering incorrectly and she was so nasty and mean that my people at the table were absolutely shocked. When our food arrived she slammed down our plates and stormed off. There was no asking if we needed anything else. Then check time. She had someone else bring that out to us but she didn’t ask if we wanted to split the bill. I am still at a loss as to why she acted that way. We were never loud or disrespectful. We were kind to anyone we came into contact with. She was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. We won’t be back. She was the absolute worst and it was very uncomfortable. I give service 0 stars out of 5.

This place is the epitome of classic American dining. The serving staff were all very friendly and the service was fast and quality. My party tried the chicken cordon bleu and the pork chops and both were excellent with generous portions. The dishes come with ample sides and a small loaf of delicious dark brown bread for the table that was so freshly baked it was still hot. AND the prices were incredibly reasonable! Great overall experience and I will definitely be back.

We were invited to breakfast by some friends who swore the food was amazing, it was Sunday morning and it wasn’t as busy as there was a hawks game when we went. It’s a seat yourself type of place, so we sat down waiting for the rest of our group to arrive, there was this younger gal who grabbed our drinks and was super sweet. 15 minutes later, when the rest of our group got there was when we finally met the waitress. She was an older gal with purplish hair. At first glance you’d think she was sweet. But boy are you in for a treat. She was rude and so snappy with my husband, daughter and I, but to our friends she was just fine. She made our breakfast unenjoyable. It’s clearly a pattern if others have also had similar interactions with her. Not sure how she’s working in the food industry with an attitude like that.
