My daughter became a student at Spokane Valley Kumon approximately three years ago when we felt her math skills needed a boost.
We couldn’t be happier with results. In approximately three months, my daughter went from being challenged with her current grade level math to excelling.
Furthermore, by the end of the school year she was almost a full year ahead of her peers, and easily managing the class work.
However, the real benefit from Kumon came during the year and a half Covid forced students on line.
To ensure our daughter did not fall behind we enrolled her in the reading program to go along with her math.
The work the Kumon East Spokane staff did with her is paying huge dividends as students reintegrate into the classrooms.
My daughter is attaining As in all of her classes, and is doing pre-algebra while most of the students are repeating the math being taught pre-Covid.
The benefits are not just being seen in math and reading. The rigorous routine Kumon places on the kids has the additional benefit of developing good study habits. This benefit is reflected in her non math and reading grades.
Mr. Song and the rest of the staff at Kumon East Spokane are simply wonderful to work with. They relate well to the children, communicate frequently and patiently with parents, and ensure they are keeping children on the correct time line.
I could not be happier and strongly recommend this center to anyone considering math and/or reading help for their child. The fees are a huge value considering the results they achieve.
