I am a proud parent to two beautiful girls. My 13 year old is a Kumon reading program graduate. She completed the program when she was 9 years old. I am so proud of her! When I first joined her, I just wanted her to join Kumon so she could have a strict routine, but she loved Kumon and took a great liking towards writing, reading and creative thinking. She was 5 years old when she joined and at that time she didn't know how to read - she could write but not read, but soon I noticed that she could read and connect with the Kumon program.

Two years after completing the program she loves Kumon and also helps her younger 7 year old sibling who is currently enrolled in the reading program. I see the same with my younger child. She loves Kumon and follows a standard time to do her Kumon homework as well.

As a parent my expectations are -For my child to excel in reading -For my child to love reading -For my child to develop focus/concentration -For my child to learn new vocabulary -For my child to have good hand writing -For my child to follow a standard time to finish homework

I am proud to say that Kumon has really helped my kids achieve the above. I totally recommend Kumon! Thank you so much, Kumon!

When I decided to enroll my child in Kumon it was about 1 month after the pandemic had started. At that time everything had turned to remote learning for most students. I knew this was going to be awhile before things were going to change. I had known a few parents who had there children in Kumon and heard nothing but positive results from it. I immediately enrolled my child and she has now been in Kumon for almost 3 years. She has mastered so many levels of both Math and Reading, gained self confidence and has become a self starter in her academics. I highly recommend this program for parents who have the mindset of wanting there children to thrive!

Our first and only experience with Kumon, left me disappointed. My child was scheduled for an assessment, which, to be honest, I don’t think really even makes a difference. They pretty much start all kids at the same level. My son is in sixth grade, and they wanted to start him at their first grade level . When I declined program, she threatened me with, “do you want your child to be successful or not?” I think it’s pretty ignorant to think that Kumon is the only way for a child to be successful. Furthermore, threats like that are just manipulative fear tactics to try and get business. No thank you.
