Based on other reviews, I took my date to La Creme Brule'e. I have cycled past this restaurant hundreds of times, not knowing what a little gem it is. The restaurant is quaint, quiet, intimate, romantically lit, with atmosphere appropriate music to accompany your evening. We showed up w/o a reservation, and were promptly seated. Next time, however, I will make a reservation, as we were fortunate they had one table left at 630pm. The food was delictable. The wine list was plentiful (whites/reds). The wait staff was a little understaffed at the peak of dinner hour, but that just added to the enjoyable length of time my date and I were able to chat and enjoy the atmosphere at La Creme Brule'e. I hope you enjoy as much as we did. We will definitely return.
appetizer + 2 entrees + 3 glasses of wine + dessert (creme brule'e, of course) = less than $90. Food = A++. I
