Hot tub was out of service and did not let us know. Pool light does not work and would not fix. Advertised and extra bathroom on website but that was incorrect. Fridge was halfway broken and does not keep food/drink cold. Notified property manager and gave us the run around on all issues. Not understanding or willing to work with us.

The rental service through VRBO is bad. Our fist house was double booked, and even though our reservation was made 1 year ahead, the other was less that 6 months old and they got to stay. no one was in the office to respond to our dilemma. Savanna, the representative I emailed with was not available. The owner Adam Rynd and Kelli blew off my request for compensation and blamed the mess on the owner. Vacasa finally found us another rental, but not without some anxiety about our celebration weekend. Don't rent from these people. I am noticing a lot of complaints here.

I had been looking for a place, very last minute and found Pirate's Cove. Kylie and Karston were great and booking was a breeze. The house is on the main drag but traffic noise from the living room and master bedroom is minimal. There are 2 bedrooms that face the street side, so the noise might be an issue there but we didn't use those rooms. The backyard has a beautiful view. It is mostly fenced, but if you have an adventure dog like I do, there is one place on the south side to keep an eye on where your dog could walk thru the water and get loose. There is a tourist seaplane next door so if you're a super late sleeper, he might wake you. His first trip out seems to be around 830am, which was fine with us. My only suggestion for the house would be screens on the windows and slider (there are only a couple thru out the house). That would make a huge difference. All and all it was just what we needed. It's not the Ritz but it's super close to town, with a lovely relaxing view. It's a big place and I will definitely go back with friends!
