Just go. You'll need a grooming sticker and snow park pass or pay for parking, but it is glorious.

Beautiful place for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Not too many people, a lot of parking at 10 am weekend. There is a parking fee or snopark permit+ groomed trail permit.

The trail head itself was very well kept with the exception of the outhouse which looked like it had never been maintenanced. Keechelus lake is a beautiful place to stop and take pictures, and depending on the time of year, you're able to drive down into the lake and walk around.
