We only made it to Bridal Veil Falls. Took us 4 hrs return trip. I would consider this is a moderate to hard trail (not in good shap personally). Lake serene was an additional 4 miles return from the falls so decided against doing that. But the falls were beautiful.

Beautiful views. Kinda a long hike. Gets very steep and rocky, lots of steps & stairs, couple bridges, logs you need to walk over and be very careful with when hiking up the falls. But so worth it when you get there and feel the mist and water after such a hike. It was hard for me, I'm not the most athletic person but abled bodied but this hike might be too difficult for young children, elderly or people who struggle with mobility or have a disability that may interfere with them accessing the top of the mountain. Due to the rocks it's not wheelchair accessible and if you use a walker or cane you may need to set this one out because of the overflow of water, causing all the rocks to be quite slippery.

The trail is overgrown at the beginning and lots of mosquitoes and flies. As it goes up it gets better. The trail has a lot of loose gravel as well before the Bridal veil. Overall it's an enjoyable hike. The trail is a bit crowded though.
