Lake Tapps Park

Waterside 80-acre park with a boat ramp, swimming facilities & picnic areas with grills.

One of the best places to view Mt. Rainier near Seattle. The lake is also a pretty choice for family picnic and swimming with the kids in Summer.

Nice place to launch a boat, kayak, and good spot to see Rainier. There are several tables you can BBQ. Besides these, not too much to entertain.

Probably one of the best lakeview parks in Pierce County, if not Western Washington. Despite the traffic/parking situation, this park has plenty of lake access for swimmers, paddleboarders/kayakers, and motorized watercraft. My kids love it here.

One thing worth noting is there is constant police presence at the park and when they say time to go they mean it!
