My family loves Lake Washington Toddler Group. It’s a fun place to come with your littles and younger siblings are welcome to attend as well. This past year I was in the Tuesday class with Teacher Kris with my two boys who are three and one. It was a great opportunity for my three year old to play and gain independence and confidence without being overshadowed by his older brother.
The experience was not only a treat for my kids but also for me. There is a new parenting education topic each week with covers lots of good stuff and being able to talk about the good/bad/and ugly with parents going through it with you is an added bonus.
Each week actives are swapped out so there is always something new and exciting for the kids to experience. Most of the class is open play and then there is a snack break before we end class with circle time, which consists of guided songs lead by Teacher Kris. The place wouldn’t be what it is without Teacher Kris. We like her so much we’ll be back in her class again next year with my youngest kid.
Also, don’t be discouraged by the parent participation in cleaning. Many hands make light work.
