I have Cigna insurance and spent 5 hours on the phone confirming that Dr. Pam was in my network. My insurance confirmed that she was. The lady that works in billing (Markana) told me that my insurance was not in network. When I asked for clarification and to try and figure things out, she told me that she didn't think I was fit to be seen here medically and she wouldn't want me interacting with anyone at their office. When I asked to please speak to one of the doctors to let them know what happened, I was told they would call me. I waited 4 days with no reply. When I called back in, another lady Jessica told me that they have just chosen not to bill my insurance and have canceled my appointment. Even when I told her I would be ok with paying out of pocket...they denied to see me and canceled my scheduled appointment.
Seems pretty un-holistic to me if they are picking and choosing their patients based off if they seem "fit" or not. Can't believe the treatment I received. I not only will never go here, but I will tell everyone I know about my experience and let them know not to go here either.
Don't stop here for care! Very poor and disorganized office where long delays are common in getting basic services as questions answered with lots of foulups in prescriptions, insurance dealings, and getting simple lab requistion requests. Poor communication. Too short staffed with short work weeks. Very frustrating and time consuming experiences throughout several office visits. Too bad, as I believe there is goodness and value at the core! Being a very avid follower of a holistic lifestyle for many decades and having already great 100% organic and regular exercise choices in place, my hope was to further this with Dr. Pam, however, I found her and her choices, to fall below my acceptable standards which created lack of confidence to further continue, besides the administrative nightmares. For many, however, she emphasizes the good fundamental principles that have been around for ages and could be of aid for those folks that have received poor care through traditional sources, are uneducated on healthy alternatives, and now are willing to correct poor lifestyle choices... but, don't expect quality office procedures.
