We've ordered from Larsons Bakery every year for the past 5+ years! (Employee bday orders and personal orders) The cakes are so yummy!
Personal favorites are the fresh banana cream cake, strawberry cream cake (seasonal), and the champagne cake!!!
I highly recommend Larson's!!

Extremely disappointed! I've heard nothing but great things about this bakery, so I decided to try it for my Mother in laws retirement party. When I walked in to order, I was ignored for a solid 5 minutes until I finally spoke up to get some help, the lady who decided to finally help me was rude, and continued to get annoyed when I asked questions about my options. After all was said and done, I was quoted $44 for a double layer 8 inch, which I thought was quite a bit, but hey, for great cake, sometimes you have to pay more. I was fine with it until I picked up the cake. It looks horrible, and I was embarrassed to present this to everyone at the party. The sides were caving in, and the boarders looked like my 4 year old did them. The writing on the cake looked sloppy and rushed. For that price I expected better! I won't be going back there that's for sure!

I ordered a carrot cake from here recently. The frosting was fantastic but the cake left a little to be desired. Was not a bad cake by any measure, but I was expecting substantially better for the price. $45 for a cake that left us comparing to supermarket cakes isn't a good feeling.
Also was told that for decorations, they couldn't do frosting carrots for a carrot cake...huh??? I opted for a floral design that was well done, but again, huh at not being able to do carrots? Just strange.
