I was represented by this firm in my divorce. I told them from day 1 that I basically needed my hand held. I was extremely naive about life in general and had been completely controlled by my narcissistic, emotionally abusive husband of over 30 years. Knowing what I know now, Chelsea did me an extreme disservice and I was taken advantage of by my ex. So many things should have been done that were not. I’ve lost so much and I worry about my future. Two of the last things Chelsea said to me after mediation were - “you should be grateful”, and “I would have been happier if you’d gotten XX amount”…after giving me zero guidance ahead of time. We went into a mediation with zero preparation. We didn’t meet, she gave me zero counsel. After mediation, one of the paras tried to get me to negotiate something with his lawyer that had been settled in mediation. And you can bet all those emails were charged. Be very careful
