What an amazing customer service! Hands down the best experience I've had in a shop since moving to Vancouver. I had an issue with a cupboard door, went to two different Home Depot stores and NO ONE could help me there, they're either inexperienced or didn't care enough to help. Then a friend recommended Lee Valley, I went there expecting the same treatment, and I was so surprised! The first guy that helped ups, I think it was Bill, pulled up a huge parts book and found what we needed in seconds, he was kind and helpful and explained how to install it. Then one of the screws on the door was worn and we couldn't get it out to install the new piece. After watching hours worth of youtube videos, I gave up and came back to Lee Valley expecting a "sorry we can't do anything for you" again I was surprised, one of the guys, an older gentleman I forgot the name, took the door in and removed the screw for us, total hero. This damn door was an issue for almost two months lol, we would never fix it without this team's help. All of them were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Next time I need tools/parts again I'm going to Lee Valley first!
