This is a cute little campground just five miles up the road from the more popular Hamma Hamma campground. There are only a handful of spaces here but the campground is really spread out and you feel like you are the only ones there. They have drop toilets and a water pump with drinking water. Also if you are lucky you can score one of the campsites with access to the river. This would be a perfect swimming hole in the middle of the summer.

Great time last night at the campground. Not potable water but the sites are nice and spread out so you feel isolated. There are two HUGE cedar trees and hiking trails across the road and another 5 miles down the road too. Will come back.

Beautiful place. Super affordable and right next to a trail of 1.30 hour. Totally worth it. Suggestion do the trail between 10am and 4pm in spring. Because too early is too foggy totake good pics of the lake. Take water and some snacks for the way.
