I've worn glasses since a child and have seen many of doctors and this was by far the worst experience I've had with an eye doctor. Honestly, if you're looking for quality care, this is not the place to go at all. First, I waited two hours to see Dr. Vaughn, just for him to be rude, dry, and rush through my eye exam for contacts. He concluded that my eyes were -4.25 and -6.00 which was way off, so much so that I was getting migraines from the sample contacts (that I had to wait two weeks for). I told them in the office that the prescription doesn't seem accurate, and they brushed it off. On top of that, I needed to order contacts before my insurance through my parents was up and Rosie, the only person that knows how to order contacts was out sick for more than a week. Why is she the only person who knows how to do that?! I called everyday to try and talk to the doctor and get some help, literally no one could help me. I tried speaking to the doctor, and the people in the office would take my number down and not call back. I ended up having to find another doctor last minute, spent more money to redo my exam and order contacts, in which the new doctor said my eyes were actually a -2.00 and -4.00, which was closer to my last prescription. This office should certainly be a last resort because it's not worth the trouble that you'll probably face. I didn't even want to write this review and I tried getting in contact with Dr. Leroy to talk about it, but couldn't succeed in doing so. I hope that you'll figure out ways to get more organized because this simply ain't it.

I have had low vision since the age of 7 meaning I've been to plenty of eye appointment and know what a quality doctor looks like. Not only is this man lazy looking through his equipment but also has equipment older than himself probably. I came in for glasses that I know are achievable because I was wearing glasses in December. His equipment lense had blotches of black stuff on em and it obscured my vision further. He then told me it wasn't feasible and wanted me to get cataract surgery instead, I have one working eye. We waited two hours for him to see us in this smelly dingy office that reminded me of some third world country because of how packed it was and the way it was set up, literally imaging equipment in the hallway in the back while more ppl sat around waiting to be seen. I don't recommend this place.

My vision started to get a little blurry up close and I became concerned. I recently visited Dr Vaughn on a referral from a friend and I am glad I did. He and his office staff made me feel more comfortable and the procedure was easy going and painless. Now, I can see like a hawk again. Thanks again Dr Vaughn.. I am going to recommend you to my friends and family...
