A few weeks ago I went and got a quote for new tires, and it came to about $890. So about a week later I made an appointment to take my car in to get those tires. I dropped my car off, scheduled a ride back home, and my car was gone most of the day. Towards the end of the day, I got a call saying that the $890 tires didn't actually fit my car, even though they were the same ones on the quote I was given, and they tried to upsell me $1300 tires. Only after I told them I wasn't going to pay that much for tires did they try to find a similarly prices set of tires.
After a lot of back and forth, they finally found a similar priced pair of tires, but I was told that they would be ready by Friday or Saturday at the latest. (I believe it was Monday at the time) the tires did not in fact arrive at that time, they arrived several days later than they had stated. So I had to schedule another ride back to get my car, returned to me with the old bald tires, and had to drive that my car around with bald tires for over a week until the new ones finally came in. and of course I had to schedule two more rides with people to drop the car off and pick it up again.
Not upset that mistakes were made, because mistakes happen sometimes. More so upset that there was no compensation to the customer for the inconvenience, or no attempt to rectify the situation.
