Went in for battery draw test. Noticed employee having trouble with aftermarket hood latches on aftermarket hood. Went over and opened it for him and told him to be careful please, I didn’t want anything scratched or smeared.
He had no consideration and I watched him and coworker lean against front aftermarket grill, with a rockstar energy drink on the fender. Once they were done, you could tell exactly where they put their hands just by looking at all the smudge marks on recently washed black paint.
I told him, “there are other places you can put your hands on a vehicle other than the paint to get around”. I open and close my doors, trunk and hood all the time without having to touch paint. He just looked at me like I’m an “a hole” and offered no apology.
Now I know I sound like an a hole, that’s because I am one when it comes to a vehicle I’ve bought brand new, paid off, dumped over 20k aftermarket into, kept low mileage, had regular maintenance and cleaned and detailed on a very regular basis.
Again, I am that a hole, sorry. But you are Les Schwab, a very reputable auto repair company, and should be aware of people like me who put a great deal of effort into the vehicles they love.
Went to this Seltice Les Schwab Tires store yesterday to finally get some new tires for my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Truck. After a reasonable wait time I ended up leaving the store with an installed set of nice new and siped tires (275/55R20XL 117T Back Country AT2). Looks cool with just enough roughness, not too much, not too little, just right. I also got a good deal and discount especially because of financing it for 90 days. I recommend this store 100%, they always treat me good, multiple times they fixed or helped with light issues for free.
