Avoid This Hotel – Disrespectful to International Travelers!
I had a terrible experience with the Level Seattle Downtown Hotel that I want to warn fellow international travelers about. My wife’s reservation, which she booked months in advance, was canceled without notice just days before our trip. The hotel blamed this on poor system integrations between Booking.com and their internal processes, but no clear Root Cause Analysis (RCA) was provided. They dodged responsibility and told me I should have booked directly on their website, which—by the way—doesn’t even support multiple languages. If you don’t speak English, you're out of luck.
What’s worse is that the real reason for the cancellation became obvious: there was a big tech conference in town, and they prioritized maximizing profits over honoring international bookings. They shamelessly canceled our reservation to focus on more lucrative business. This hotel clearly values money over customer service, and they treat international guests as an afterthought.
If you're a traveler from outside the US, avoid this place at all costs. They don’t respect your booking, and they certainly don’t care about your experience.
