Chris Lewis and his group are amazing. They make everything extremely simple, walk you through things and definitely prove that they have your best interest at heart. In my line of work I often have tax questions unrelated to my personal accounts, and Chris or another staff member is always able to answer and help. Plus they give you branded beer, so that’s cool. They deserve 10 stars!

I have trusted Lewis Group CPAs with my taxes for over a decade. They go far beyond basic tax preparation, by providing sound ADVICE. This is extremely valuable to my business and has saved me much more than I pay them for their service. Honest, straight forward and always available to answer my questions - this accounting firm is exceptional.

I hired Chris Lewis to do my (not so complex but complex for my 1099 contractor employment status) quarterly taxes and yearly taxes in 2015 and 2016. A friend works with their firm to do their personal and business taxes and came highly recommended. All was going well, I got married, I let Chris know and asked if I needed to start paying more per quarter since I got married and my combined income with my husband was a lot more and he told me not to worry... Tax season comes, I gather all of my paperwork, leave it with Lewis Group a month before taxes are due and he emails me saying I owe ~$10,000 in federal taxes while I'm on vacation 1 day before tax day. They forgot to account for my husband's income. We drained our entire savings to pay a lump sum while we were out on vacation celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. The crappiest thing in this entire situation was the blame I got from Chris and Scott about an error that could've been avoided if they would've done their due diligence when I asked them to look into my new married status and combined income with my husband. Both told me that they did everything right and that I owe what I owe. True. I owe what I owe and I paid for it with a broken heart. I saved that money for years to use as a down payment for a house. They charged us for their services but did give me $200 off. I paid them $500 for their ~$10,000 error. It took my husband and I a good two years to recover financially from working with Lewis Group. I'm sure I'm part to blame not reading into the neglectful signs when Chris would refuse to meet with me face to face and have me meet with the front office ladies. Do yourself a favor and look for an accountant that is willing to build a face to face relationship with you instead of doing everything over e-mail, or blowing you off because they're busy, or passing you off to a different accountant without letting you know. It took me a long time to get over this...hence the overdue review.
