Dr. LI Zhang, MD has been my oncologist for over a year. She has treated me with the utmost respect and patience while treating me for recurrent prostrate cancer and its mutation tumor that developed in my bladder. Without her knowledge and experience, the mutation would have blocked the right kidney from draining and set me up for some serious future procedures. Her communication skills explaining my lab results are easy to follow and make decisions on treatment options, with a full understanding of any possible side effects.

Dr. Zhang was dismissive and apathetic. Dr. Zhang refused to give me a referral for a surgeon when surgery was necessary for treatment, she was unable to explain my lab results to me, and she didn't care to learn about other aspects of my health, my medical history, or how I'd like to make decisions for treatment. Dr. Zhang and the NWMS team was unorganized as they lost notes in my patient chart multiple times, never called me back, and didn't respond to MyChart.
