The first? Wow.. Background: It was December 27, 2018 when I took on the honey do task of replacing a leaking toilet valve AND a shower head. Piece of cake right? I go to my utility room and attempt to isolate the main. If you aren't aware - the isolation valve in MeadowWood is a plastic "butterfly valve type. It snapped in half - leaving in the the valve at half open and decreased pressure. DILEMMA!! I tried channel lock, vice grips and needle nose pliers trying to get the valve shut OR return OPEN! I called Julie and explained that I needed the main secured to relieve inlet pressure and hopefully shut the valve. This was around 1500- around 1530ish, Hayden showed up to isolate the main. This is where my blessings started! I explained what had happened with loss of pressure and all.... Hayden volunteered to come in and see if he could help. HE and I both gave it the all out effort to move the valve (seized up). He brought an attitude of hope and NOT to be defeated. We researched valve replacements and the like. Time passed- it was passed 1700 at this point. This young man reached out to a co-worker (Chad) and next thing I know, I'm meeting them both at Home Depot where they had the valve and necessary material to remove/replace my stuck main valve! We swapped out the valve in like NO TIME FLAT! Mike (Andre) showed up as well. I was/AM so impressed and blessed by the time they took to get my household restored to normal. My Christmas miracle with these guys! So, on behalf of the Lively family: Julie, Mike, Hayden and Chad - I/we are both humbled and so appreciative of your efforts!! Talk about AWESOME!!
