Outstanding food. The Cheese and Pear Formaggio had a perfect flavor balance with savoriness and a hint of sweet. The Pasta Bolognese was rich in flavor, pasta cooked just right, but slightly watery sauce.
There was a lemon cheesecake-like desert that was perfect in balance with the lemon not being overpowering and not too sweet. Such a refreshing way to end dinner.
They were busy, as expected, and our first seat was near a hot window, second seat was in the sun, but we finally got settled in the shade. It would be good to improve the shading so it’s not so awkward for the diners. However, the service otherwise was kind and hassle free. Since it was busy, there were some periods of waiting, but didn’t feel that we were forgotten.
A nice point, but you could see the staff and chefs were eating their food. Not only does that mean they were enjoying what they cooked but also an important quality control! I could tell they were really taking the cooking seriously.
