WOW!!! The blueberry kolache knocked my socks right off! The dough was a little bit sweet and little bit chewy in that satisfying way that gives it "bite", exactly as it should be. Fresh, thick cream in the middle was dusted with a thin crispy sugar and the blueberries burst with sweet juicy goodness.
Worth every penny ($7). This place is dangerously good. The location is perfect and, I'm sure, expensive. Cannot wait to bring my Czech friend here!
I was excited when these guys moved in to this spot. I’ve been in several times and sadly, I cannot recommend them. Their pastries taste like they are “day old”, and for the prices they charge, that’s just not good enough.
Updated 6/28/24: In addition to the poor value, opening for business now appears to be optional for these folks.
