A friend was in the process of getting some work done at Local Boy, and after seeing the work that she was having done I knew this was the place I needed to go. Keep in mind it’s over an hour’s drive from where I live. It was my first tattoo and took a total of 9-10 hours. All the guys in the shop were very professional and JC (the artist that did mine) was easy to talk to and did quality work. Good enough that my wife went to the shop a month after mine was completed and got her first tattoo from JC as well. I fully intend on getting a Polynesian shoulder/chest done in the coming year. The shop is tidy and they stress cleanliness. Quality work, highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place for anyone to get a tattoo. I got my 2nd tattoo here with Santiago, who was fantastic. Him along with all the other staff are very friendly and I felt very welcomed while I spent my day there. Santiago helped me create the perfect piece based off of my interests and I couldn't be more happy. They also gave clear aftercare instructions, followed all COVID guidelines, and the ability to contact them directly for further questions regarding aftercare. Overall I am very pleased and if I ever get another tattoo I'm coming back here!

Most tattoo shops I've visited have come with this feeling of stuffiness and condescending glances, but that's never been the case at Local Boy. The guys at this shop are really easy going, and have always made me feel welcome. The quality work produced by the artists is the result of decades of collective experience, and is nothing short of phenomenal.
Clean shop, friendly atmosphere, and skilled artists. Highly recommend!
